1 envelope onion soup mix
2 lbs. potatoes, cut into chunks
1/2 c. vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In a plastic bowl, add all ingredients. Toss potatoes until coated well; empty into baking pan. Bake 40 minutes, stirring until tender brown. Makes 8 servings.
