SHERBET COOKIE SANDWICH | |
1 (11 oz.) pkg. pie crust mix or sticks 1 c. powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tbsp. water 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 1 (8 oz.) pkg. M & M's, coarsely chopped (about 1 c.) 1 pt. sherbet Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix pie crust mix, powdered sugar and baking soda. Stir in water, vanilla and egg until dough holds together. Stir in M & M's. Roll out dough to 1/4-inch thick on floured board. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutter. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 14 minutes until light brown. Cool. Spread 2 tablespoons sherbet on a cookie. Top with another cookie. Press lightly. Freeze immediately. Freeze 2 to 3 hours. Store wrapped in plastic wrap. |
