SHORT CAKE BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
1/4 c. plus 2 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. whipping cream

Mix as for biscuits, using the 1/4 cup sugar. Form dough into 6 inch log. Cut in 6 slices, place on lightly greased cookie sheet, sprinkle with 2 teaspoons sugar. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. When completely cool, may be wrapped air tight and frozen for one month.
