2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs 1/2 c. milk, about 1/2 lb. bacon Cut up bacon until small pieces and fry. Mix other ingredients together. Boil a large pan of water on stove 1/2 full. Then drop teaspoonful of dough into salted boiling water. Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes or so. Drain and put in bowl, pour hot bacon and part of grease over dumpling. Serve and enjoy! |
