HILLBILLY CAKE 
2 eggs
1 can (No. 2) pineapple
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. coconut

Mix eggs and pineapple and set aside. Combine flour, soda, salt and sugar and mix together. Combine eggs and pineapple. Pour into 9x13x2 inch pan and top with coconut. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter

Combine milk, sugar and butter and boil for 3 minutes. Punch holes in top of cake with fork and spoon frosting over top.

I changed the topping. I used coconut milk instead of milk and added the sugar and butter as directed. It was richer and really good. You need to use the right sized dish as specified, not too small, because when you poke the holes in the top there's quite a bit of topping that needs to be absorbed. The right sized pan is fine but too small turns it soggy.
