CHERRY DELIGHT 
3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. crushed waverly wafers
1 c. chopped pecans
1 pkg. Dream Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 1 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Then add waverly wafers and chopped pecans. Stir all well. Grease a 9 x 14 inch pan. Bake the above 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool. Whip Dream Whip. Spread on cake. Top with can cherry pie filling. Keep refrigerated.
