BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
2 c. unsifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
1/2 c. butter
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Melt butterscotch over double boiler with butter. Remove from heat and transfer to large bowl. Stir in brown sugar.

Cool 5 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 15 x 10 x 1 baking pan. Bake 30 minutes. Cool and cut in squares.

For 6 ounces butterscotch chip recipe, divide in 1/2 and spread in 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake 25-30 minutes.
