JIM'S BROCCOLI SALAD 
2-3 lg. bunch broccoli tops, chopped
1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 c. raisins
2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 sm. bunches spring onions, chopped

DRESSING:

1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar

Prepare salad and dressing one day before serving. Combine dressing ingredients until smooth. Place in a 16 ounce container, with lid, and chill overnight. Mix together broccoli, bacon, raisins, cheese and onion in a 13 x 9 inch pan, with lid, and chill overnight. About 1 hour before serving mix salad and dressing together and keep refrigerated.
