APRICOT NUT BREAD 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. orange juice
1/2 c. dried apricots, chopped

Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt into large mixer bowl. Add sugar, water, juice, egg, butter, nuts and apricots. Mix thoroughly. Pour into greased and floured 9x5x3 inch bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan and let cool on rack. Yield: 1 loaf.
