SCOTT CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon

ICING:

1 stick butter
1/4 c. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
1 c. coconut

Melt butter on stove. Add water, shortening and cocoa.

Mix sugar and flour in bowl and add melted butter mixture and beat. Add eggs last and pour into greased and floured 9x14 pan, 350 degrees F., 45 minutes.

Mix together icing and pour over hot cake.
