SIMPLE GRILLIN' STRIP STEAK
Use a vegetable grill pan if you can. However I use a flat pan with small slit holes (intended for ovens as a drip pan).

4 strip steaks (1 1/2 to 2-inch thick)
2 or 4 whole onions
Old Bay seasoning
garlic powder
Accent (MSG; optional)
salt and pepper

First cut up 2-4 whole onions (cubed or sliced). Make sure that the onions cover the flat pan evenly.

Next take Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, Accent, salt & pepper and moderately sprinkle over the onions. Use your best judgement to the amount you would like. For me I lightly cover onions.

Next place steaks on top of the onions, and again apply the same seasonings as before with the onions.

Try to set your grill for high cooking, now place the flat pan with steaks in the grill.

Cooking times may vary according to different grills and temps, but I will say cooking time will be around 30 minutes or less. Periodically check the inside of the steak and make sure not to overcook.
