1 can crushed pineapple
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter (cut into pats)

Pour crushed pineapple into 9x13 baking pan (glass works best). Spread dry cake mix evenly over pineapple. Put pats of butter evenly over cake mix. Bake 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake an additional 35-45 minutes. (Top should be golden brown but not soupy.) Serve warm. Can be topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
