BOSTON BROWN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
5 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. raisins
3/4 c. dark molasses
3 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix everything together. Stir well. Bake in slow oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Use small bread pans. Cool on rack for 15 minutes, then remove from pans and continue to cool at room temperature.
