C R'S FAVORITE TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine ingredients; add enough flour so that you can handle the dough (about 3 1/2-4 cups). Beat until stiff.

Roll out thin and cut with cookie cutters. Bake in hot oven about 12 to 15 minutes.
