CHICKEN AND RICE 
1/2 stick butter
1 c. converted rice
6 pieces chicken
salt and pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can water
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

Place in covered roasting pan in order listed (or cover pan with aluminum foil).

Bake 1/2 hour at 350°F, then 2 hours or longer at 325°F.
