CHAMPION CHERRY PIE FILLING 
1/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cherry juice
3 c. pitted red sour cherries, drained
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/8 tsp. red food coloring
1 tbsp. butter

Mix flour and sugar together well. Slowly stir in juice until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a full boil. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients in order listed. Set aside to cool. Pour into a baked crust.
