AUNT OLLIE'S MINCEMEAT 
4 lb. lean beef, cooked and shredded
Meat from 1 hogs head, cooked and shredded
8 lb. sour apples
3 lb. raisins
2 lb. currants
2 qt. pineapple, crushed
1 pt. apple or grape juice
1 qt. molasses
1 lb. brown sugar
1 pt. vinegar
1 tsp. each of cloves, black pepper, salt, nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon

Cook together for 1 hour being careful that it doesn't burn. Put in hot, sterilized jars and seal. Additional fruits, such as cherries, gooseberries, blueberries and etc. may be added.
