AUNT SALLY'S KUGEL | |
1 lb. fine noodles 1 lb. creamed cottage cheese 1 c. white raisins (pour boiling water over raisins to soften) 1 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. milk 1/2 lb. cream cheese 6 eggs (can use 2 egg whites for each whole egg) 1 c. sugar Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Boil noodles and drain. Mix sugar, vanilla, and eggs; add to cooked noodles. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, and milk. Add to noodle mixture. Combine softened raisins and butter. Pour into noodles. Mix all ingredients. Pour into greased 13x9 pan. TOPPING: 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs 3 tbsp. powdered sugar 1 stick butter Cinnamon Mix all ingredients in a small bowl. Sprinkle on top of noodles and pat. Bake approximately 1 hour. Cut and serve. Can be frozen and microwaved to warm. |
