SAUCEPOT MEATBALLS 
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/2 c. water
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. ground thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. chopped parsley

In heavy sauce pan or skillet, combine soup mix, water, ground thyme, pepper, parsley. Mix meat, seasoning and parsley. Shape into 16 meatballs. Place in sauce. Simmer uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes until meat balls are done, turning balls occasionally.

Serve over cooked noodles, spaghetti or rice. Makes 4 servings. May be topped with grated cheese.
