SEAFOAM SALAD 
1 can (No. 2 1/2) pears
1 pkg. lime Jello, 3 oz.
1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped or substitute
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
2 pkgs. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened

Drain pears, heat 1 cup of the juice to boiling. Add gelatin, stirring to dissolve. Chill until slightly thickened. Stir mayonnaise into softened cream cheese with a fork, blending until smooth. Slowly stir in gelatin mixture. Crush pears to a pulp with a fork and add to mixture. Fold in whipped cream. To serve unmold on lettuce. Garnish with green cherries.
