LASAGNE 
2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. fennel seed
1/4 c. parsley
1 lg. can whole tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 sm. cans tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
Lasagne noodles
16 oz. cottage cheese
1 egg
10 oz. mozzarella cheese
1 onion
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt

In a big pot cook onion and garlic over medium heat until brown. Add basil and fennel seed, sugar and salt and 1/2 of parsley. Mix well. Add tomato paste and sauce and water. Mash whole tomatoes. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.

Cook noodles. In bowl combine cottage cheese, egg and the rest of the parsley. Mix well.

Layer all ingredients in pan. Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove foil and bake until done.
