LASAGNA 
1 - 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 clove garlic
1 lg. onion, diced
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. parsley
3 sm. or 1 lg. and 1 sm. can tomato pate
Water
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1-2 pkgs. Mozzarella cheese
1 lg. container cottage cheese
2 eggs
1 lb. lasagna noodles

In large, heavy pan, saute garlic, onion and parsley. Add ground beef and brown. Drain excess fat. Add tomato paste, filling each empty can with water and adding to mixture. Add seasonings and let simmer 1 hour.

Cook noodles according to directions. Mix cottage cheese and eggs together and set aside.

In large oblong baking dish layer sauce, noodles, cottage cheese mixture and Mozzarella cheese, ending with sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Bake in 375 degree oven 30 minutes or until cheese is golden brown. Let cool 10-15 minutes before slicing into squares. Serve with tossed salad and/or garlic bread. Serves 8.
