ANGELS ON HORSEBACK 
1 pound bacon
1 3/5 ounce tube anchovy paste
1 pint fresh oysters

Cut bacon strips in half. Spread strips sparingly with anchovy paste. Wrap around oysters and secure with toothpicks, broil until done.

Yield 3 dozen. May omit anchovy paste and replace oysters with water chestnuts, pineapple, chicken liver, or olives.
