1 c. oil
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. apples, peeled & chopped
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix oil, sugar and eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients, mix well. Add apples, pecans and vanilla. Mix and pour into tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour 10 minutes. Pour the following glaze on cake while still warm.

GLAZE:

1 stick butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 sm. can evaporated milk

Mix and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for 8 minutes. Pour over warm cake.
