1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, lightly packed
1/2 c. white sugar
1/3 c. smooth (can use crunchy) peanut butter
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream together butter, 2 sugars, peanut butter; add egg and vanilla; mix. Add the rest and mix well. Roll in 1" balls. Place 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Take out and press Hershey chocolate Kiss, put back in oven 3 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen.
