PEAS - PORRIDGE 
1 qt. green peas
1 qt. water
1 bundle of dried mint
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
2 qt. milk

Boil peas, mint, salt and pepper in water until peas are tender. Blend butter and flour until completely mixed; add to peas. Boil 5 minutes. Add milk slowly and boil for 15 minutes. Take out the mint and serve hot.
