OVEN ROUND STEAK 
3 1/2 to 4 1/2 lb. beef round steak (1 1/2 to 2 inch thick)
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
6 sm. onions
1 clove garlic
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Sprig of parsley
1/3 c. dry red wine

Place steak in baking pan or oven skillet. Place pan under broiler and brown meat lightly on both sides. Add mushrooms, onions, garlic and parsley and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add wine; cover tightly. Bake at 300 degrees for 3 to 4 hours. Arrange on platter and pour pan juice over meat to serve.
