PASSOVER NUT, WINE, AND CINNAMON
CAKE
 
10 eggs, separated
2 c. sugar
1 c. cake meal
1/4 c. potato starch
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. wine

Beat yolks; add sugar. Add wine and cinnamon and sifted flour and starch. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold yellow mixture and nuts into whites. Bake in 10 inch tube pan at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Invert pan immediately and cool before removing.
