LEMON ICEBOX PIE 
4 eggs, separated
1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
4 lemons, 1 c. juice
Dash of salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. water

Combine egg yolks, flour, sugar and blend well.

Add water, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat. Before it boils add lemon juice. Stir until thickened. Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Top with meringue and brown.
