MY GRANDMOTHER'S CHERRY PUDDING 
2 c. flour - do not sift
2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 c. sour cherries

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add sugar. Beat the egg. Add milk to egg and beat again. Mix everything together. Put in an 8 inch square pan and bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Serve warm, with milk or cream.
