YOGURT COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plus 4 tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
4 egg whites (slightly beaten)
2 c. plain low-fat yogurt
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder

NUT FILLING:

1 c. chopped nuts
4 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Blend together butter, oil; add vanilla and sugar. Beat well. Mix in eggs, one at a time. Blend in yogurt. Sift flour, soda, baking powder. Add to egg mixture and beat well.

Place 1/2 mixture in bottom of greased cake pan. Sprinkle with nut mixture (save some for top). Pour remaining batter and add rest of nuts on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
