DEEP DISH BROWNIES 
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips or Reese's peanut butter chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease square pan, 8 x 8 x 2 inches. In medium mixing bowl blend melted butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; beat well with spoon. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in chips. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 40-50 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely, cut into squares. 16 brownies.
