SAUSAGE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
6 slices bread
butter
1 lb. sausage
6 eggs (beaten)
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Remove crusts from bread. Spread bread with butter and place in a greased 13x9x12 inch baking dish. Cook sausage until brown, stir to crumble then drain. Spoon sausage over bread slices. Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top of sausage.

Combine eggs, milk and salt and mix well. Pour over cheese. Cover and chill overnight. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 8 or more.
