VELVET PEAR SALAD 
1 (29 oz.) can pears
1 (3 oz.) lemon Jello
1 (3 oz.) lime Jello
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. lemon juice
Green food coloring (optional)
Lettuce

Set aside 1 pear half for garnish. Dissolve Jellos in boiling water. Place canned pears and the syrup, dissolved Jellos, cream cheese and lemon juice, a portion at a time, in blender and whirl for a few seconds.

When the mixture is thoroughly combined, pour into an oiled 2-quart mold. Chill until set. Cut reserved pear half into thirds and tint green with food coloring dissolved in water. Unmold salad on lettuce-lined platter. Garnish with tinted pear slices. 6-8 servings.
