2 cans cherry pie filling
1 (2 layer) pkg. white cake mix
1 stick butter, sliced
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spoon cherry pie filling into 9x11 baking pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over pie filling. Put pats of butter over cake mix. Sprinkle pecans over butter. Do not stir. Bake 30 minutes or until brown. Serves 6-8.

Variation: Substitute apple pie filling for cherry and sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon over cake mix layer. You can substitute a yellow cake mix in apple pizza recipe in place of white cake mix.
