MAMA'S ITALIAN SALSA CASSEROLE 
1/2 c. oil
1 lg. onion, chopped
4 lg. tomatoes, chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. capers
Salt to taste
Mixture of: 1 tbsp. vinegar and 2 tbsp. water

In a large skillet heat oil. Then saute onion and garlic until tender. Add chopped tomatoes and capers. Continue to saute ingredients for about another 15 minutes. Cook 1 pound of spaghetti and cut up cooked meat (roast beef, ham, chicken or ground beef). Mix the salsa and meat to pour over spaghetti. Reserve about 1/4 of salsa. Mix cooked spaghetti and salsa in casserole. Then pour 1/4 of salsa on top of spaghetti and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over all. (This sauce is good on almost everything!) Bake at 350 degrees 20 to 30 minutes.
