DIVINITY CANDY | |
3 c. sugar 3/4 c. hot water 3/4 c. light salt 2 egg whites 1 box gelatin 1 tsp. vanilla Combine sugar, water, syrup and salt in saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Cook in small amount of candy forms a hard ball in cold water. Beat eggs until soft peaks form. Add dry gelatin. Mix beat until stiff peaks form. Continue beating and pour in syrup mixture. Add vanilla. Beat 5 minutes or until mixture holds its shape. |
