CHOCOLATE CAKE 
In mixing bowl:

2 c. sugar
2 c. flour

In sauce pan:

2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water

Bring to rapid boil and remove from heat and add to flour mixture.

Add:

2 eggs slightly beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Pour into cake pan. Bake 400 for 20 minutes. Frost while hot.

Frosting:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/3 c. milk

Bring to rapid boil. Add 3 1/2 cup powdered sugar, nuts, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over cake.
