POPCORN BALLS 
1 lg. roaster or popped corn
1 c. white syrup
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Butter size of walnut

Bring the syrup to a boil. Add the sugar all at once and bring back to a boil. Remove from heat and add baking powder, vanilla, and butter. This mixture will foam up slightly. Pour over popped corn and form into balls with hands that have been dipped into water - this is so it doesn't stick to your fingers. Place balls on baking sheets to dry. After dry, wrap in plastic wrap or place balls into sandwich bags. You may add food coloring to the foaming mixture if you want colored popcorn balls.
