BLACKBERRY PUDDING 
2 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 c. flour, sifted
2 c. boiling water
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. blackberries

Cream 1 cup sugar and butter together. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, milk and mix well, then pour blackberries on top. Pour 1 cup sugar and the 2 cups boiling water. Bake in moderate 350 degree oven until top is golden, will take about 50 minutes.
