PINEAPPLE BREAD | |
2 1/2 c. Jiffy baking mix 1/3 c. sugar 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, not drained 1 egg 1/4 c. milk 1/2 c. chopped nuts Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease loaf pan, 9 x 5 inches. Combine all ingredients, except nuts. Beat vigorously with spoon 1/2 minute; stir in nuts. Pour into prepared pan and bake 45 to 50 minutes. Note: Have a Hawaiian bread by using same recipe, only substitute coarsely chopped macadamia nuts. |
