PEAS AND RICE | |
1 c. rice 1 can blackeyed peas 1 pkg. chicken noodle soup mix 2 c. water 1/2 stick butter In a skillet melt butter. Pour rice in melted butter and brown until rice is light brown. Pour in water. Add soup mix, stirring until dissolved. Add blackeyed peas. Cover and cook on low flame until all water has cooked out. You must cook very slow. |
