PERSIMMON COOKIES 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheet

1 c. persimmon pulp
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. each cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon

Cream sugar, butter. Add egg and persimmon pulp. Add baking soda to persimmon pulp. Blend in next 7 ingredients. Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees.
