EASIEST EVER FRUIT COBBLER | |
This is the best cobbler you have ever tasted. My mom has been making it for 50 years. Be sure you use self-rising flour though, if you don't it will be very chewy. 1 cup SELF-RISING flour 1 cup sugar 1 cup milk 1 egg 1 (21 oz.) can of your favorite pie filling 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in pan while mixing other ingredients. Mix flour, sugar, milk and egg. When butter is melted, spoon flour mixture over butter, DO NOT STIR. Then spoon over pie filling, DO NOT STIR. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes. Note: Be sure you use self-rising flour! Submitted by: Lona Miller |
