GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
15 to 18 new potatoes
6 strips of bacon
1 1/2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 med. red onion, chopped
1 bunch fresh broccoli
Salt & pepper to taste
1 reg. size bottle Italian dressing

Fry bacon while boiling potatoes. Steam broccoli until tender. Drain broccoli and potatoes immediately. Allow to cool. Mix all ingredients together. Chill in refrigerator for several hours or overnight. The potatoes soak up the dressing after the salad sits for a while.
