GZ'S GINGERSNAPS 
3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
4 tbsp. Brer Rabbit (dark) molasses
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt

Cream Crisco with sugar. Add egg and molasses. Add flour sifted with cinnamon, cloves, ginger, soda and salt. Roll in balls. Dip in granulated sugar. Place well apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
