SCOTTISH SHORTBREAD (COOKIES) | |
1 c. butter 1/2 c. powdered sugar 2 c. flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt Cream butter, gradually add sugar. Blend dry ingredients. Roll out 1/4 inch thickness on floured surface. Cut with 2 inch cutter. Place on ungreased sheet and decorate with cherry or citron (optional). Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Yield 4 dozen. |
