EASY BEEF STEW 
Beef stew meat, you DON'T need to brown it
Carrot chunks
Celery chunks
Quartered potatoes
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup

In big pot, layer meat, carrot, celery, and potatoes. Sprinkle onion soup mix over. Pour soup over. Cover and cook on LOW all afternoon. Check it and stir well once in a while. (If you don't it will stick to the bottom and burn and taste yukky and be impossible to clean!)

Put the stew on immediately after lunch. It takes all afternoon, on low, to cook.
