CORNMEAL BISCUITS 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. grated cheese
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
Paprika
3/4 c. cornmeal

Sift flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt. Cut in and cream shortening like coarse crumbs. Add milk and mix lightly. Turn out board and knead gently. Roll down. Sprinkle with paprika. Roll up like jelly roll. Cut in 12 slices on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
