STRAWBERRY SHEET CAKE 
1 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. ripe banana, mashed
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix dry ingredients. Mix milk with vanilla and add to dry ingredients one step at a time; mix until smooth. Grease 2 (9-inch) cake pans and dust with flour. Fill each with half of the batter. Bake in 400 degree oven until cakes move away from the sides of the pan, about 30- 35 minutes.

FILLING:

1 pt. whipped cream
1 tsp. powdered sugar
1 1/2 pts. strawberries

Mix powdered sugar with whipped cream. Reserve 9 large strawberries. When one of the cakes cools, slice it in half horizontally. Fill with half of the whipped cream and a layer of strawberries; set with the points facing outward.

Swirl the remainder of the whipped cream on top. Halve 8 of the reserve strawberries and arrange on top of cake, points facing outward.
